What I’m Binge Reading This Holiday Season

December 21, 2016

I try to take a few days off at the end of the year to regroup for the next.  As a workaholic, I am spectacularly bad at this.  However, I like to tempt myself into actually doing it by producing a drool-worthy binge reading pile.  Here’s what’s in the pile this year.

Silent in the Grave by Deanna Raybourn

Really enjoyed A Curious Beginning, the first in this author’s Veronica Speedwell series, so I can’t wait to dig into her Lady Julia Grey series.

A Certain Age by Beatriz Williams

This author is brand new to me, but as a fan of Lauren Willig and Karen White, I wanted to give her a try.  This one looks very promising!  Who doesn’t love flappers and the roaring twenties?

Magnate by Joanna Shupe

Really excited about this one as I’m up to my eyeballs in Gilded Age NYC research for my current work in progress.  Shupe is another new author for me, but I’ve been hearing really wonderful things about her and this series in particular.

Your turn – what are you binge reading during the holidays?
