Why don’t I have To Save a Viscount already?
It’s in editing. The story is complete, and it’s a wonderful, if sad, thing to say. I’m already hard at work on my new trilogy, the Unpredictable Trilogy, so never fear. More is coming down the line. In the meantime, scroll down for some fun news.
In the News: Women Who Write Romance and Make Money Doing It
While I must start by saying, this is not the case for every woman writing romance in today’s self-publishing world when it comes to the kind of numbers quoted as income for some of these writers. But its the message further down in this article on women romance writers that intrigued me. It refers to the many indie publishing houses that have sprung up in the e-book age and how the many entrepreneurs in today’s business world are, in fact, women writing stories for women. As one of these women, I was pleased to see that someone was recognizing the business skills behind writing these stories. We’re not just writers anymore. We run our own companies. And it’s liberating. Not always financially, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually absolutely. So yes, we write the book, but we run the company as well. Ever notice that my books are published by Someday Lady Publishing, LLC? There’s a lot of man hours put into that little name, and I couldn’t be more proud of it.
Blog to Follow: The Under Covers Book Blog
I have nothing more to recommend this blog on than the fact that the site is really pretty! That’s enough, right? The Under Covers Book Blog is unique in that it is run by women from around the world. Yes, around the world! It’s hard enough for me to manage guest bloggers from within the US, so I can’t imagine having to work across the globe. Here you will find everything you’re looking for in a book blog with interviews, reviews, and giveaways. Not to be missed.
The Week in Social Media: A cover reveal, some light reading, and air
We can’t always be on every social media site every day of the week, so here are some snippets from my week in social media.
Who is ready? Stay tuned because something may pop up this week….
And in case you missed it, some summer reading to add to your list!
And of course
