In the Saturday Slush Pile

We have some winners of the First Indieversary Giveaway

First, I want to say thank you to everyone who participated! The newsletter is the best way for me to keep in touch with all my awesome readers, and the response just delights me. Thank you for keeping in touch, friend!

And the first place winner of the beach reading prize pack is …

Reader Kelli G.!

And the second place winner of an ebook copy of her choice from author Lauren Linwood as well as an ebook copy of her choice from the Spy Series is…

Reader Nadine W.!

Congratulations to you both, and a big thank you to fellow historical romance writers Lauren Linwood and Hannah Meredith for your contributions to the contest.

That’s the end of the Spy Series (and yes, I did cry!)

Our wonderful family of spies have found their happy endings, and although I am happy for them, I am also sad. I started writing the Spy Series nearly ten years ago, and I can’t believe the story is over. But as any good writer would do, I definitely left it open for a spin off series. Who’s up for the Spy Series: the Next Generation?

To Save a Viscount is off to my editor, and that means August is packed full of fun stuff for the release of the last installment in the Spy Series. Don’t miss the cover reveal, the blurb, the excerpt, and most important, the release date!

In the News: If you like romance novels, you’ll like this make up collection.

I have no words for this, but it’s worthy of sharing.  So decide for yourselves.  Make up company, MAC, has designed an entire collection of make up around romance novel cliches.  Hmmm….

Blog to Follow: Not Another Romance Blog

I’m one of those people who constantly uses the search lists in Goodreads to find books like the books I love.  If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a writer, it’s that people want to read the same story but different.  What I love about Not Another Romance Blog is that the blog master, Rita, has listed the reviews on her site by the author’s last name.  So if you’re on Goodreads checking out the if you liked this then read this lists and find an author you’ve never heard of, you can use this handy list to find several reviews of that author’s books and decide what next adventure you’ll read.

The Week in Social Media: Is it a pen name and fangirling (yes that’s a word)

We can’t be on every social media site every day of the week, so here are some snippets from my week in social media.  Click the image to follow the link.

I was so honored to be asked to give a quote for the amazing Hannah Meredith (remember that name from above?  I don’t ask just anyone to contribute to my contests!).  Here it is finally in print!

Hannah Meredith's Kaleidoscope

And ever wonder if Jessie Clever is a pen name or if I write naked?  Find out in my interview with Alisha Robinson!
